LUKE IN ACTION

Here are a few video clips of Luke

This video clip is for grandma Geddes

Luke can be a little stinker sometimes, but it seems he generally only does it for Jake and I... so grandma Geddes thinks we are telling lies about our perfectly darling little boy. LOL..
Well, here Luke is being kinda fussy, but the funny part about it, is that he rarely lets us catch him on camera... as soon as he sees the camera, he stops... doesn't want grandma to know the truth. LOL.

LIFE IN THE GEDDES HOME

Not a whole lot has happened recently... Jake is still job hunting, and we are hoping something will come up soon.
Having Jake home all day has both it's pro's and cons... he is fantastic to have around as an extra set of hands for our busy little Luke who loves to always be entertained, and sometimes its nice to just spend an afternoon vegging together on the couch watching McGyver or what ever...some good family time... but then there are other times, when I think we want to strangle each other because often we will be together 24/7 for days on end just breathing down each others necks day in and day out. LOL.. the joys of having a spouse.
The job hunting is keeping both our stress levels at a not so nice high. Fortunately our happy, smiley little boy keeps us occupied much of the time, so we stay distracted and don't spend too much time worrying. Luke really is our little ray of sunshine in perilous times.

Luke keeps us on our toes. We are so grateful for his adorable, fiesty, little personality.
And, boy, does he have personality... LOL... Everyday we are laughing at him about something. And he is such a little stinker, but gets away with it because of his too darn cute little face.
This morning, Jake rocked him to sleep in the rocking chair, then got up to put him down when he had fallen asleep... just as he put him down, Luke opens his eyes, but rather than starting to cry like most babies would, he looks up at Jake, cracks him a huge smile, and starts babbling... well, that was the end of his 10 minute nap in dads lap... now it was "maybe if i'm cute, they'll forget the nap and play with me" time.
I have absolutely no idea how we are going to discipline our little boy when he gets older... he is just like my brother, Jarryd... Jarryd was always making my mom laugh when he was in trouble, so he would escape punishment.. it drove me insane as a child, cos I was never able to pull off the same stunts. LOL... well, now I am my mother, and Luke is my stinker brother... funny how you always end up where you vowed you'd never go. LOL.

Yesterday, we decided to give Luke some rice cereal. He has been spitting up his milk really badly, so is always hungry. We gave him some rice cereal so he would have something heavier in his tummy, to hopefully help keep everything down..
Well, he was a little unsure of what to do with it when I first put some in his mouth, but he soon started to love it. He also wouldn't stop grabbing the spoon, and would hold onto it while I put it into his mouth... my child will be feeding himself in no time.
When dinner was done, we just gave him the spoon to play with for a few minutes.
